This work identifies the hallucinogenic drug 1-phenylcyclohexylamine and several of its derivatives using spectroscopic techniques. Reference mass and infrared spectra, along with gas-liquid and thin layer chromatographic data, are provided and discussed.
Five analogs of phencyclidine (PCP) are identified using spectroscopic techniques. Ultraviolet and proton magnetic resonance spectra of these compounds are similar, while mass and infrared spectra are distinctly different, and reference spectra are provided. Gas-liquid and thin layer chromatographic systems for analysis are discussed.
