Abstract
This paper proposes a technology-oriented research roadmap for investigating whether advanced physics, quantum information science, artificial intelligence, and consciousness research could eventually enable new forms of temporal information retrieval and postmortem accountability. It reviews quantum state reconstruction, reversible quantum dynamics, indefinite causal order, Many-Worlds interpretations, computational historical reconstruction, near-death experiences, terminal lucidity, and anomalous information-reception research. The proposed research architecture progresses from experimentally tractable technologies—AI-assisted historical reconstruction, quantum information recovery, reversible computation, and controlled consciousness-at-death experiments—to more speculative objectives, including information retrieval from the past, cross-timeline information exchange, investigation of postmortem consciousness, and empirical testing of whether moral accountability or reparative processes could exist beyond biological death.
