The Three Levels: Quantum Body, Visible Light Reality, and Soul-Spirit

Abstract

This is the seventh and final paper in the Living Information Systems Dynamics (LISD) preprint series. It formalizes the architecture the preceding six papers implied but never stated explicitly: the three levels of reality available to a conscious organism in biological time. The paper proposes three formally distinct levels. The Quantum Body (QB) is the thermodynamic substrate — the dissipative structure running on Air/Water/Food, shedding death, burning life, following England's dissipation dynamics toward configurations of greater coherence without conscious navigation. Visible Light Reality (VLR) is the operating domain of biological consciousness — the regime in which the full sensorium receives, integrates, and transmits, in which narrative mass accumulates, and in which the game of conscious gravity is played. The Soul-Spirit domain is the level beyond the upper VLR boundary, addressed through the VLR Boundary Hypothesis: the most honest scientific statement the framework can make about what lies beyond the termination of biological consciousness. The paper locates the Nash equilibrium claim of DNEST (Dynamically Nash-Equilibrated Sphere of Time) precisely at the VLR level for the first time, formalizing who the players are, what the strategies are, what the payoff function is, and why stable mutual orientation toward Air/Water/Food/One Another constitutes a genuine Nash equilibrium rather than a moral prescription. Four external scientific frameworks are integrated at each level transition: Penrose and Hameroff's Orchestrated Objective Reduction (Orch-OR) as the candidate physical mechanism for the lower VLR boundary; Hoffman's Interface Theory of Consciousness as the software layer running on top of it — VLR as the evolutionary GUI built for adaptive navigation rather than accurate representation of underlying reality; the holographic principle of 't Hooft and Susskind, extended to propose the self as the boundary condition of its own holographic universe; and Carroll's Everettian many-worlds framework, recast as the formal structure of coupled conscious gravity fields across civilizational branching trajectories — the Multiverse of the Selves of One Another. The paper draws on the first-person testimony of Helen Keller — who navigated VLR for years without the visual or auditory channels and without language — as the most direct empirical window into the structure of VLR available in the literature. Her description of the water pump moment (April 5, 1887) as a sudden dimensional expansion of accessible reality is the most precise phenomenological confirmation of the VLR language boundary available anywhere. Her lifelong navigation of reality through smell, taste, touch, proprioception, and interoception alone is the strongest available evidence that VLR is a genuine multi-channel integration system whose operation does not require the channels T_dark has most successfully substituted. The VLR Boundary Hypothesis states: the termination of biological consciousness at the upper VLR boundary does not constitute evidence for the termination of the accumulated information structure that consciousness generated during its operation in biological time. The boundary of measurement is not the boundary of reality. Evolution is a journey toward tomorrow.
