Abstract
In standard quantum mechanics, consciousness is treated as a passive observer. This paper challenges that paradigm by proposing that consciousness functions as an active "reactant" in quantum state transitions. By constructing a quantum chemical framework where consciousness (characterized by integrated information, Φ) acts as an enabling reagent, we derive bidirectional equations for the synthesis of matter from information and the reduction of matter back into information.
