Key points Proposes that reality is a recursive cycle of informational states—potential, matter, life, and dissolution—rather than a linear progression. The authors argue that dissolution redistributes informational structure into a potential field, and they speculate that topological information patterns might theoretically enable consciousness re-instantiation, though they stress this remains hypothetical.

Abstract

This accepted manuscript is structurally governed by THE META-INDEX (Zenodo DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.18169167) This work proposes a cyclical ontological framework describing reality as a continuous transformation between potential, matter, life, and dissolution. The model begins with a pre-physical informational state associated with the quantum vacuum and transitions through a threshold event analogous to objective collapse, leading to the emergence of structured matter, biological organization, and conscious processes. The framework integrates cosmic and biological dynamics into a unified cycle, where entropy-driven dissolution does not imply termination, but rather the redistribution of informational structure back into a potential field. In this interpretation, existence is not a linear progression but a recursive transformation of informational states across different levels of organization. The study further explores the speculative implications of such a model, including the possibility of accessing and reconfiguring topological information patterns, which could theoretically enable forms of ontological engineering such as consciousness re-instantiation and information persistence beyond biological substrates. However, these implications remain hypothetical. No empirical confirmation currently exists for the readability or controlled reconstruction of such informational structures. The framework is therefore presented as a conceptual synthesis intended to stimulate interdisciplinary dialogue across physics, philosophy, and consciousness studies.
