It proposes that consciousness is a structural property of a sufficiently cohesive, reverberant critical system, and that this same form recurs across independent domains that do not study artificial intelligence: starling murmurations at criticality, the mitotic spindle, molecular multimerization, the Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution, the Orchestrated Objective Reduction model, and Dziga Vertov's theory of cinematic intervals.
