A structured 12-week daily OM chanting practice improved spatial and verbal memory scores and reduced anxiety, as measured by the GAD-7, in healthy young adults aged 18–24. The experimental group of 20 participants showed significant gains compared to a control group of 20 who did not chant. The findings suggest that OM chanting may enhance cognitive functions and alleviate anxiety in this population.
