Indonesian Psychological Research February 2, 2025 Tania Alifiara Arijanto, Yahya Muhidin, M. Fahmi Aufar Asyraf et al.
A two-week mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) program significantly lowered perceived stress in psychology college students. Female students showed a greater reduction in stress scores (mean reduction 9.81) than male students (mean reduction 6.73). The study used a one-group pretest-posttest design with 40 participants and the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10). Results indicate that brief MBSR training can effectively reduce stress in this population.
